WINDOWS:
Step 1: Verify that you have a working network connection and that you are authenticated with Cisco Clean Access:
- Verify your network connection by opening a web browser and loading and refreshing a web page.
- If you are logged into Cisco Clean Access the requested page will load.
- or - - If you are not authenticated with CCA, you will be redirected to the CCA Login page: https://caserver.mlml.calstate.edu/
- If you are logged into Cisco Clean Access the requested page will load.
- Login using your MLML username and password.
(NOTE: Using the "Guest Access" button does not grant access to the MLML files servers.) - If you have trouble authenticating with Cisco Clean Access, take a look at the CCA Troubleshooting procedures outlined here. ***LINK NEEDED***
Step 2: Connect to the server using Windows Explorer:
- Open Windows Explorer using one of the methods below:
- Right click on My Computer or the Start Button, and select Explore
- Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer
- Press and hold the Window button on your keyboard and press the "E" key.
- Verify that the Address Bar is visible in your Windows Explorer window. If the Address Bar is not visible, follow the instructions to Customize Windows Explorer, here.
- Type the name of the server, preceeded by two backslashes "\\", into the address field of windows explorer and press enter.
(For Example: "\\fileservermac" or "\\atlantic".)

(If the server cannot be located or if a login window does not appear, enter the fully qualified address of the server, for example: "\\atlantic.mlml.calstate.edu" and press enter) - Login to the file server using your MLML username and password (The one you use for Clean Access), when prompted. If your MLML username and password does not grant you access to the windows fileserver \\atlantic, login using the "software" user account.

MAC OS X:

Step 2: Connect to the server using Finder:
- In Finder, select "Connect to server..." from the "Go" menu. (The shortcut is command-K)
- Enter the hostname of the server you want to connect to preceded by "smb://" (for example "smb://fileservermac") into the "Server Address" field and click the "Connect" button.
(You can click the "+" button to add the server to your list of "Favorite Servers")
