How to send large files to people (> Gmail 20MB limit)

You have several options for getting large files to people.

If it is too large to send via Gmail (limit is 20MB), then you can email it using any of a number of free programs that basically act as a file server and hold the file until the recipient retrieves it. One example is SendSpace (http://www.sendspace.com/) which has a 300MB limit. You can upload up to five files at a time at their site.

Another alternative, if the person is at MLML, is to drop the files into their Drop Box on the MLML server (fileservermac), and then let the person know that they are there. Instructions on how to get to a person's Drop Box are here (http://kb.mlml.calstate.edu/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=53).

You can also send files <2G using Send It Global Secure Digital Delivery (https://www.senditglobal.com/). You don't need to create a user account to do it.
